BestLine 853796001450 Premium Synthetic Power-Train Lubricant - 16 oz.

I bought this after I became the owner of a 2001 Dodge Durango 4WD with a 4.7L engine with 155,000 miles on it. The 4.7L engine is infamous for its knock and valve slap noise. In my case loud enough to compete with the radio. After tons of research I came across some reviews of the BestLine brand of products. I figured for less then $20 I might as well try it.I changed the oil and added 2 quarts of BestLine with 4 quarts of a good high mileage oil and the valve slap was reduced by more then 50%. I now have to intentionally listen for the valve slap to hear it. Look at some of the online video reviews and then spend the money to give you some piece of mind. For me, the vehicle was a gift from my son so I wasn't out anything, but I couldn't stand the noise. I now use this as my primary get around vehicle and with 168,000 miles it is still going strong.It's a minor investment for the piece of mind it brings. I am a hard skeptic on most things but I am a believer in this. I am trying the gas treatment now and will see if it improves mileage or makes the engine run any better.

Recently purchased and am restoring a 1986 Toyota Van, with tranny running hard-shift from granny to 2nd-- all other shifts were fine. So, had the transmission flushed, new seals & filter (no shavings or sludge found-- thank goodness) then added the appropriate amount of this power train lubricant with OEM tranny fluid.Unnervingly, there was a bit of a 'low squeal' that seemed to come from the differential for a couple weeks-- but it was a bitter cold winter at the time with negative temps-- and then within 2 weeks the sound dissipated and is completely gone now. (NOTE: Toyota is very specific on what fluid to use in this model van due to basically a fork lift engine, and I was prepared to have it flushed again and only OEM fluids replaced, but it appears this fluid has integrated well.)I've put another 500 miles on the van since using this product and automatic shifting is much more smooth and quiet. Therefore, I'd say this stuff works as stated and I hope for having used it, I can get another 225k miles out of the van.For my experience, I'd definitely recommend it for high mileage vehicles with a few ticks, but that don't need major transmission work.

i had bought this in hopes to fix a hard shift into 2nd and a whistling noise when my truck went into 3rd gear at around 35-45 mph. i had recently had my transmission rebuilt $2500 (ouch!!! yes it still hurts) 2 year warranty (only good thing about that, but still HURTS) and returned to the shop 10 days later so they could check for leaks, and i had told them of what i had noticed (above symptoms) he had told me unless it gets worse or i am really uncomfortable with it, there is not much he can do right now( WTF!!) than was over 2 months ago and problem persisted every day. i had heard of bestline products and decided to give it a try. placed my order, fast shipping, package arrived un-damaged (important) used most of bottle in various places, trasmission( biggest issue), radiator, power steering. didnt notice anything real special after adding to radiator or power steering, but immediate results in the transmission incredibly smooth shift through all gears and no whistling noise for almost a week. so i am thrilled

I ordered this product because I had read some reviews and other people had experienced the same problem I was having with the transmission making a loud "clunking" noise in my 2002 Chrysler Mini Van. This automobile has about 150,000 miles and I was really concerned about the noise and it leaving me stranded somewhere. I purchased the BestLine Automatic Transmission Additive and followed the directions on the container. I have since driven the van approximately 1000 plus miles and have not had the clunking noise not one time! It also is shifting smoother! A great product and well worth the price I paid. I also bought the engine oil additive and plan to use it at my next oil change. Now after another 30,000 miles it is still working and shifting without clunking or rough shifting. This stuff is amazing. We put it in our cars and our both of our daughters and also in our son in laws /truck. I have a 2011 Hyundai Veracruz. I love my car, and now when I got in to drive it is so much smoother and very fast on the pickup and go now. Same with my hubby's 2012 Dodge pickup Cummins diesel ( we put the diesel one his one in his of course). My daughter drives a 1997 Explorer in great shape, but hers runs so much smoother and runs faster also. She called us up so happy that her car runs so much better. I highly recommend this product, and other products from this company.
