Candy Tumble Dryer Capacitor. Genuine Part Number 92215292

I was a bit unsure on uf ratings but this works fine in my hotpoint. I wish I'd replaced this instead of the heating element first.

Very fiddly to install due to the anti-repair design of modern appliances but if you persevere this can save you hundreds in repair quotes.Worked fine on a unit that called for a 7 not a 7.5

Bought this as couldn't afford a new dryer. Used in my candy dryer even though it wasn't one of the models listed compatible. Works a treat. Took me several hours on my own as you have to remove the drum in the condensers but it's saved me a small fortune.

Brilliant, worked out belt wasnt broken so tried this replacement and spinning like a new machine. Chuffed to bits for under £6.00. was a bit of a complicated location to get to, but the alternative was a new machine. Five stars

Tumble dryer was slow starting and sometimes not at all. It finally stopped turning. This saved us from getting a new dryer. You do have to take the dryer to pieces but if you take plenty of photos and separate the screws it's doable.

Heat pump dryer became lazy starting after about 5 years. Ordered without confirming exact part before hand as strip down is somewhat convoluted. Didn’t have the typical never start without a push, could convince the dryer to start by moving the drum and going again. This little bit arrived quickly with Hoover branded wrapper (was for a candy but they are the same company), swapped it and seems to be more spritely at starting now. Original capacitor was metal cased, this plastic (no issue with that) and is made by the same manufacturer as original Ducati energia.

our dryer 6 months ago started to not spin unless I either put clothes to the right side or hand spin it then start the dryer but last few weeks mid cycle it would just hum and not spin so researched on YouTube and watched a few capacitor replacement videos and thought id try doing it myself, originally I wasn't going to buy one from amazon as non of them matched my part number from the faulty capacitor which was 416.33.20 that's was silver metal with 7uf rating but after reading some reviews here other people had success with this white plastic one and for only 5ish pounds I thought why not and it worked a charm. well pleased with this as I only had to wait next day for delivery unlike other online shops that will take unto 5 working day.
