Q: What is the approximate size of the collection (upper) portion?

Hi, Bala,I, too, wondered about this when ordering for my late father's use. The picture doesn't show anything in reference to help you figure it out. It was about 7 or 8 inches long. The opening was about 2 to 2.5 inches across and had some sort of soft baffle around it for comfort. A "normal" sized man would have no problem using this. My father found it an improvement over the standard hard plastic urinal handed out in hospitals. Hope this helps!Lovestoast!

Q: how long is the tubing measured from the bottom of the urninal to the top of the collection bag?

The 2018 version has a tube that is 45-46” in length.

Q: My husband has used something similar to this before but says the "funnel" part is too small and urine backs up. Will this take the full force urine?

"full fore urine" is somewhat subjective. Although I've had to replace the bag twice due to leakage and have kept it in a pan, I've used this device reasonably successfully for about two years filling it up to 1000-1200 ml with about 3 slow discharges nightly. Unless the funnel is positioned as high as possible, a full force discharge (say 500 ml) while in the bed it could spill over.
