Update...Screw doesn't seem to be stainless steel. Some of them rusted after 3 years. Just grab some stainless steel screws. overall I'm pleased. As one commenter said this is the best strap kit 6 years after purchase, only one of the plastic strap has broken on the cool cover side...rest are still decent shape with some bending although I'll probably have to replace them in next couple years. I had to replace couple of the straps. I'm here after 6 years to grab extra plastic parts.----------------------------------------------------------------------------I give it 4.5 stars. I have "Best Choice Products® Swimming Pool Cover Reel 21' FT Stainless Steel" and sticker/velcro strap that came with started to come off. This comes with 10 metal screws to attach to reel with 20 strap holder, 10 straps, and 10 plastic screws to attach (10 straps holder) to the solar cover. Mine did come with straps and as other reviewers have stated, no instruction. But the description specifically states no straps so don't expect it. Looking at it for a few minutes I knew what I wanted to do. I ended up spacing the straps 2 feet apart and used drill to screw straps with bulging part to the reel. For my reel, straps seems bit too short but with strap holder, it was just perfect length. My reel being my first, I did pretty crappy job so with 2 feet apart and just enough strap length, solar cover works very well and I'm highly satisfied. One benefit is the reel has additional screws holding the connected section so it feel sturdier.Straps that came is bit too tight to go into the slots for strap holders. Just be patient, and if nothing else, cut it bit slant and apply heat with lighter so strap won't unravel.

Wanted to try these instead of the gold over ones that the seem cracked on very easily! So far so good!

These are awesome! They work so much better than the other push clips!

Use the fasterners on my 30 x15 pool cover to attach to cover cover roller to roll up the cover when we use the pool - works great. They actually last longer than the cover.
