This story looked interesting and I decided to give it a whirl. I thought a short erotic complete story, didn’t realize it was just a part of a larger story. Nevertheless this part of the story is filled with great imagery and hot steam.It reminded me a bit of Xena Warrior Princess with strong women in charge. Unlike Xena and Gabrielle who never took their relationship any further than friends Sorceress Selena and Warrior Queen Anja gave a new meaning to feeling you deep in me.Selena will do anything to protect her queen even if it means risking herself. Anja will use whatever means she has to save her people but she is not willing to squander her soldiers recklessly. Together she and Selena utilize the unexpected side effect from magic gone awry to their best advantage.After reading an excerpt from Queen’s Gambit the next part of the story I want to know what happens next. You know that Queen Anja and Selena have something planned and you can’t wait for that buffoon to be brought down a peg or two. Wow! This was yet another fine story from this author. I'm impressed that she can produce stories set in modern times and then so effortlessly slip into fantasy. This was such a great extension to the mage that she could ...ahem... "grow" into a new role like this. Kudos on coming up with something this unique. Very well written book (as one would expect) and very good fantasy in the bargain. I would recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in the genre.

Anyone who enjoys futa erotica should give this a read. Anja and Selena's tensions exploded in a most erotic way. There is a true story-line to be followed and it is a good one.
