Clark's never disappoints me...ever!
Clark's has been one of my favorite shoe makers of all time, all of the designs I've tried have been long lasting and extremely comfortable simply the best quality we could expect, guaranteed. These sandals honor the brand s prestige. Well nade and so comfortable. True fit to the size. Love Clark's.

Just what I was looking for.
They look good, are true to size and they’re really comfortable. Only worn them a handful of times but so far, I’m very happy with these sandals.

I was thrilled to find a new pair of these!!
I love my old pair of these. They are so comfortable and have lasted for at least ten years, but are beginning to show their age. Our Clark's stores discontinued this model several years back. I found these replacements, and most of the wrong sizes were out of stock. Amazon still had my size and I ordered them immediately!

Fit and finish.
Very happy with these sandals and a great price from Amazon. They are very well made with quality materials. So why the 4 stars instead of 5? They're made in China. If I can help it I don't buy products made in China.

Confortable, good looking sandal
This is my second purchase of a Clark sandal. I purchased the Brixby Cove Fisherman Sandal because of the wonderful way my previous Clark sandal cushioned my feet. The cushioning of the Bixby Cove is even better. The Bixby Cove is much better looking than their website photos. If there is anything I would change if I could, it would be the choice of fabric liner that contacts the top of my foot. It is 'grabby" and interferes with ventilation. I wear socks with my sandals and the fabric liner prevents me from easily slipping my foot into the sandal and restricts air flow to my feet. In spite of my criticism of the liner fabric, I would definitely recommend these sandals. The materials are high quality, arch and lateral foot support are excellent, they are comfortable and very good looking.

Good looking sandal, fits a little tight.
I wear a 8.5 wide, these don't come in wide so I ordered a size 9. It is a little narrow for my feet but I'm hoping with a little wear they'll stretch out some. The other issue is my feet sweat in these sandals, they have a rubber sole that is nice and soft but it does case youre feet to sweat. The leather is soft and good looking.

Wearing these every day
I cycle in these a lot. They look good (bear in mind I am a 60 year old Englishman).I wear them at work with office pants. No complaints yet.Took them hiking and they were ok, not real hiking sandals though. The footbed does not seem to soak up sweat, so they don’t get too stinky.I also ride a motorcycle in them. They are sturdy. All in all they are my go to shoes from April to October. I haven’t once taken out a pair of sneakers or dress shoes.Only downside is you have to bend down to slip them off. I guess that goes with them being a firm fit.Probably not for watersports.

Design flaw may cause injury
A few weeks ago I bought these sandals in preparation to a trip to southern Spain, where I wanted my feet to "breathe" easy. All went well for the first few days, but near the end of the first week, my heels started to hurt, and the edges of my hind foot were very sore and irritated. At first I thought I had caught some nasty fungus, but no; it turned out that the cause were the sandals! What had happened is that the heel support of the sandals had sunk a bit into the sole, so that the sharp edges of the (hard) rubber sole were hitting against my heels. This is very much not acceptable from footwear after a mere few days of usage.I believe the reason this happened is because of a gimmick some sandal makers engage in, a gimmick I thought a reputable brand like Clark will not fall for. The idea is to include air pockets within the hard rubber outsole, to give a "more comfortable ride" (this is nonsense, the soft insole is the one giving you a soft surface for your feet). The problem is that the flexing of the sole while walking causes micro-cracks in the rubber, the air pockets collapse, and the "comfortable ride" becomes hell on your heels. Whomever cooked up this gimmick never tried the result of the idea on his own feet before implementing it.Note. I am a heavy walker. If you do not walk much, it may take longer before you notice this problem.
