Q: The thickness of the foil?

Super thin, only good for hairline foiling, otherwise use Framar or color trak embossed foils

Q: has any one used these with hair bleach, bottle says use non metallic bowl, can you use foil sheets?

Lol yes you can. You’re not supposed to put bleach into a metal bowl because it can cause a chemical reaction depending on the metallic. These and any form of tin foil are fine in hair. While I didn’t love these foils they work in a pinch

Q: Can they be used for ice cream sandwiches?

I don’t know why not, but would probably use a sheet of wax paper first, then the foil so as to prevent any chance of sticking. Love these sheets. They are so handy.
