I was able to repair two tires that had punctures caused by screws going into the main tread of the tire. I had another kit at home that I could not get to work because of poor handle design and the amount of force to insert. This kit is well designed and the reasons why it works I list below:1. The T handle design allows you to relatively easily rotate the reaming tool to enlarge the hole easily.2. The T handle allows you to, with some fore push, the plug in.3. the Plug tool has a slit at the end of it so when you pull it out it will leave the plug in place. I have used tools that do not have this slit and those do not work well.I used this tool on two tires. One was for my SUV with a standard tire and the other was on run flat tire and it worked on both.the method I used to locate the puncture was to use dish liquid mixed with water and a paper towel to put it on any suspicious marks on the tire; when you find the leak you will see bubbles growing. One of the leaks was really small and there was no nail or screw so finding it took some time. Also this leak would disappear after the tire pressure went to about 25psi (tire pressure for this tire is supposed to be 45psi). So if you have trouble with a very slow leak, try to have the tire pressure set to the recommend psi first. Hope this helps.

Very good sturdy but wish there was something so the foam strips would not fall all over the place I would buy it again and also buy it as a practical gift

The kit itself is fine, it's got everything it promises. I'm only giving four stars because the included instructions were wrong. It shows to place the plug on top of the hole and not threaded through the punch tool. It took a few tries before I realized what the problem was.

This kit is much better than others I’ve had as far as quality goes. There are all the tools you could possibly need to patch a flat.Took me less than 5 minutes to fix a puncture which I would have waited hours for at my local discount tire. Worth every penny to me. Stays in the back of my car now.

Great kit it just depends on what your looking for it can fit in a small bag but it’s not really a portable one

I have not used this kit as of today. It's in my vehicle emergency kit." BUT" of all the tire repair kitsI bought in the last 50 years, I'm totally impressed with this kit. Best ever. I believe it's worth buying, and have it with your vehicle emergency kits.
