I bought this series after watching the Beautiful creature's film. Before the film I hadn't heard about it. I loved the film and I thought that maybe I would get into the set.The books are so much better than I thought they would be. I loved the Hunger Games but I found Twilight boring. Beautiful creatures sits in-between them. It's a basic love story similar to twilight with the whole will they get together or wont they storyline, but it's much more believable than twilight. A bit of teenage angst but it doesn't overrun the whole series like Twilight. There is action, but not so much as in Hunger Games.The story is all about a city girl than moves to a very quiet town. There she meets a guy who is from the town but doesn't fit in and wants to get out. It all starts from there and I won't spoil it! It's all about witches and the stories grip you from start to finish in each book. I couldn't wait to move onto the next one to get a fix.Although it's young adult novels it does feel a little more grown up and I really got into it. Soo overall I give it 5 stars. It's fun, gripping, action packed, relevant and not over produced like vampires are. Definitely recommend!!

I bought these books as, although I am a pensioner, I enjoy reading fantasy literature. I guess the stories are aimed at a much younger market but I loved the set so don't let age be a barrier !

Such amazing writing and lovable characters. You really grow to love them❤️ beautiful setting of scenes and really vivid imagery throughout. I love the magical element through this book, it is so fantastical yet somehow, all that fantasy seems so completely normal!

The box set is brilliant and slightly addictive!However the final book refers to a short story that was written to fit between book 2 and 3 quite a lot, the short story is nearly impossible to find!!But definitely a good read and would recommend it to anyone who loves magic :)F.Y.I the short story is called Dream Dark and is available as a free e-book but doesn't seem to have gone to print :)

I only started reading this because I saw it advertised in the back of a book I was reading. So I was really surprised when it turned out to be really good. The story is different from all of the vampire stuff out there at the moment which is refreshing and there are lots of different twists and turns. Having the complete series in one place makes it a lot cheaper and I absolutely loved it. Very different and new.

I got this because I saw the film being advertised and fancied reading the book before seeing the film. I keep it to read in spare minutes, ie whilst waiting outside the school to collect a child. It has now been brought inside and follows me around until I forget where I was last reading it! In other words I love it a gripping read, bits seem a little long winded but generally really keeps my attention!

Loved loved loved the caster chronicles! Couldn't put them down especially at the end. If you liked twilight books you will love these too. Characters are really interesting, I loved them all, especially the main characters Ethan and Lena. I would definitely not miss out on these books and the complete series with all 4 books is a bargain. Download now, in my opinion there are not enough stars to rate, it's 10 stars!!!

the art work on the front is just the beginning, extremely easy to breeze through, but surprisingly captivating, these books drag you in and make you want to 'just keep going until the next chapter', very hard to put down and VERY easy to cast a spell on you. 10 out of 10 would recommend to young children and adults. Of course the stories do centre around an angsty teen and the devote love of her mortal boyfriend, but is otherwise brilliant
