Hello, the "Toyama Koshihikari Japanese Rice 5 kg" that is available via Japan Centre has a polishing date of 25 February 2021. Kindly be aware that due to stock fluctuation this date might change. We hope this helps a bit!

Is this Musenmai rice as it says on the package in the picture?

I shared the feedback - it is NOT. It is a standard version (although tasty). We need to pre-wash before cooking, unfortunately.

When is the shelf life ?

You can keep as long as you like but draws moisture out over the time and it may have kind of odour.
