what is difference between epson ET and workforce series ?

We have several Epson printers here in our office (WP-4540, WF-7620 and this new ET-5880). The new ET-5880 is awesome! To answer your question here are some of the differences. - Bulk ink bottles for CMYK vs. separate CMYK ink cartridges - Printing costs $100 for a set of T542 bottles (and 5000+pages) vs. $100+ for a set of Epson cartridges for about (1000 pages) - Pigmented ink vs. Dye based inks - Built in PostScript support (in the ET-5880 model) - Much faster printing - Higher print quality - The B&W text looks great! - The color printing is much more accurate (much closer to screen colors without tweaking) - Power output tray extends automatically so your pages never fall on the floor - Duplex scanning so two sided sheets only need to be scanned once

Does the Et 5880 have a maintenance box/waste in tank?

Yes, with access to it on the left side of the printer.

Has anyone found compatible ink other than using the Epson brand ink for this model?

Yes. Just make sure it is pigment ink. Plenty of options on amazon. Search pigment ink refill

Can I print on 110lb card stock..? .014” thick?

I called Epson and they do not guarantee printing on paper heavier that 68lb's. Has anyone printed from the year on heavier than that?
