Billet Aluminum Fuel Filter Cap with Pressure Test Port Compatible with 2003-2007 Ford Power Stroke 6.0L

On my adventure trying to get a fuel pressure reading from my 04 f250 6 liter, I finally bought this cap after battling other fittings for fuel housing . The Cap fits good! Make sure to use a new o-ring that comes with the filters. If you use the adapter for hooking up a gauge, make sure you use a thread sealing compound. Do NOT use the white Teflon thread tape. 1. it is not fuel resistant. 2. thread tapes can leave little pieces that will clog injectors! = expensive fix! I recommend using Permatex dope with PTFE. it comes in a white container with a brush build into the lid. Make sure to read directions, i.e clean all surfaces of fuel, dirt, etc. You can find Permatex online or support your local auto stores (Recommended)Hope this helps :)

This was a good looking and functioning option to a broken cap. When I upgraded to the blue spring for added fuel pressure, I used a gauge with this cap to make sure I had sufficient supply under a heavy load first. Then rechecked after the installation.This was simple and cost effective for me to do some diagnostic work when I first picked up my truck.No complaints!

An attractive and functional cap. This was exactly what I needed to measure the fuel pressure on our 6.0 Powerstroke. I removed the Schrader valve stem, hooked up the pressure gauge and took some readings. No leaks, diagnosed a problem, all in all it made the job easy.

Fits good for me and nice brass test port. Ford brand caps crack after about 4 years of use. I don't think this fuel filter cap will be cracking any time soon. The test port is a bonus for later diagnostics. No leaks or drips for me.

Quality product. Use a diesel safe thread seal on threads to prevent leaks. For my installation a 90 degree angle fitting would have been better but this worked fine.

I’d give 5 star however not a perfect snug fit It’s slightly loose when screwing in like the unit is a hair small. Over all it seals and great for a test port. In the end I would recommend this to everyone

Perfect fit and its nice to have a pressure gauge installed while driving to verify fuel pressure. Make sure you buy some thread sealant for the sensor port because it will seep diesel fuel without it

After breaking my plastic one this one came in super handy. Easier to get on and off as well. Great craftsmanship too.
