It was pretty dull
It was dull right out of the package. I had hoped to get a bit of use out of it before I had to buy a knife sharpener. Also, the packaging was outrageous. It was in 3 boxes from the manufacturer and then it was a large Amazon box. Extremely wasteful and packaged so tight (except for the Amazon box which was way too big) I had to rip and cut my way through all the boxes just to get to the tiny little knife inside.
