I have been using miter barbs for a fair amount of time. These things are amazing. For every 4/5 you bend one. But they are sharp and once in, strong as balls. I have resorted to using them around the frame interior as well and they really add pressure to the board backer, art, and glass in a really positive way. Easy to use all around. I hammer them in with the blunt end of an old flat chisel and, tack hammer. Get some! You won't regret it. Cost is so much better and they don't walk as easily as the barbs. Over all, I can see many more uses and there's like 100 in a pack.

So glad I found these, because it simplifies making picture frames. I used 2 in each corner of my frames. They hold them together beautifully. So much easier than drilling holes and installing dowels.

I use these with a hand-nailer and hammer and they hold up great. I let my glued corners sit for at least 24 hours before I vnail, and they're great just make sure you have the slight bevel side on wood.

Couldn't finish my hardwood frame project.Wouldn't bite and kept bending.
