The LiftMaster 371LM Security+ 1-Button Garage Door Opener and Gate Operator Remote Control is compatible with post-2005 LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Craftsman garage door openers with a purple learn button.

How do I program it ?

You should have a program button on the main garage box. We had to use a ladder to push it then push the garage door opener.

What is the advantage of getting a two pack - i.e. same code, etc? (please no dumb answers like if you have two cars)
