220V 3KW Spa Hot Tub Heater with Adjustable Temperature Thermostat, Inflatable Pool Heater for above Ground Pools, Hot Tubs & Inflatable bathtub，H30-RS1

I purchased the 220V pool heater for my 6’ stock tank pool. I insulated with foam board underneath and wrapped it twice with foil insulation. Im using a pump and filter from Doheny so flow is not an issue like similar reviews using the Intex. In a matter of hours my pool increased by 10 degrees. It was very easy to install and so far no issues. Very happy with my purchase so far.

I purchased two of these heaters now. Both of them have broken. What happens is a seal in the body pops out and it leaks. Then you have to replace it.I thought it was a decent heater and then it keeps on breaking

This little heater is fine for a small amount of heat input. It is useful for maintaining a constant temperature. If you have a hot tub at 39c it can hold that temp. If you have a hot tub at 25c, it will take days to achieve 39c. 400 gallon tub gained 4 degrees in 10 hours, drawing 14 amps the whole time. We use a propane water heater to get up to temp, then this heater and a 1/4 hp pump to hold the temp.The pump is plugged into a programmable PID to keep the water at ~30c when we don't expect to use the hottub for a while.

I checked if it was working by removing it and using a wooden chopstick to depress the flow safety tab hanging down on exit end of the tube. There’s no on/off light to tell you if it is on. One would not need a light if the water exiting the unit was hot. But it s not. At least not that we could tell. The unit is just overwhelmed by the flow of water. So, no hot water. Was going to return but all fittings seem to be unique, so nothing standard 1.5” piping works with what’s left when you unscrew and remove the unit. And already cut all piping to fit, would have to remove entire section of piping and redo. Considering job and cost, result, unit stays.

Installed this item in a 900 gallon pool. It works nicely but its undersized for my pool which is no fault of the product. It still heats the pool pretty good even being undersized.

Used it to heat my hot tub. Made temperature in two hoursIt lasted just under a year before it shorted out.
