Excellent party fun
Theses were a big hit at my daughter’s 5th birthday. I thought maybe the adults would have to do all the bubble making but the kids got a hang of it really quickly. Good buy, nice quality and I am sure we’ll get lots of use out of them.

Bubble Wands And Mixture
Bubbles are my toddlers 'thing' at the moment so I am going to practice having a go with these old fashioned wooden sticks and rope so that I can make him go wow! You get 5 wands which create differing bubbles along with some powder, which isn't clearly described what it actually is, but you need to mix it with a lot of water and a LOT of branded washing liquid to get the bubble mixture you need. I love the wands but I'm hoping that once these packets of powder finish, I can create just as good a bubble mixture of my own at home! Unsure on price as currently unavailable at time of reviewing but I wouldn't want to pay more than @£15 for a set like this.

Fun if a bit pricy
I finally got the chance to take this set camping with my extended family, and it definitely proved a hit!In essence, you put 4 litres of water into a bucket, add the sachet of powder and mix well with an additional 300ml of washing up liquid. (Which is the first thing to note; the washing up liquid is not included in the pack!)And then... you dip one of the wands into the mixture and it just works. With the aid of a little breeze across the field, I was immediately able to create a 2m long bubble! As were the various children who immediately flocked to the bucket. It's definitely both fun and easy, and it's nice to see that the wands are handmade. On a slightly less positive note, the wands could perhaps be a bit sturdier; one of the kids accidentally pulled the rope out of the wooden stick; fairly easy to fix with the aid of a toothpick and a cable tie, but still a bit of a pain. And it can also perhaps be considered to be a bit on the pricey side - though equally, not only is this all hand crafted, but it all worked beautifully out of the box! Plus, it kept the kids entertained for a good few hours, which is arguably worth every single penny and more besides...

Not worth £29
This product is not worth £29. I asked for a refund. I have to say that this product is not worth the price of £29. As a customer, I expected quality and satisfaction from my purchase, but unfortunately, this item fell short.Upon receiving the product, I was immediately struck by its poor quality; it appeared cheaply made and of low standard.Disappointed with my experience, I decided to request a refund.

Brilliant bubbles
Although this is expensive, it works really well. Hours of fun. The replacement bubble powder is expensive so best to use half a packet at a time.

Good fun but overpriced
My 3 boys all enjoyed playing with this bubble set. Included in the box are 5 bubble wands. Two smaller wands, which were great for my youngest to use, and some bigger ones, all with long wooden handles to dip into your large bucket or container.Simple instructions to make the bubble solution, I didn't have fairy liquid, but only a aldi washing up liquid, so you may have better results than we did.The bubbles easily popped and we didn't make as many as we would have liked, so I will get some fairy next time to see if this does improve the consistency.Although good fun I feel £25 is very expensive for 3 small packs of bubble powder that I'm not sure you even need, 5 string wands and using 5 litres of water.

So much fun but expensive
I find that this is a little bit overpriced for what it is, especially considering you still have to provide your own washing up liquid and I can’t seem to find the magic powder to be bought anywhere else. So once it’s gone it’s gone. I’m with five children. This is only going to last a few times That aside my kids really enjoyed making this over the weekend. The bubbles are unbelievably huge and looked amazing! We use this on the road in front of our house and the results were fantastic. The whole street was stood at the window watching my kids make these. Very simple to set up and use and the Set comes with simple instructions, but provides plenty of fun.

Expensive but if hand made, that's what you're paying for
All the components together could probably be sourced if you really wanted to source them all and spend the time doing all the labour, so just for that reason I'm not really factoring in the price as a major downside here. Plus, you could make this into more of a memory than just handing them the bucket full ready to go and spend time with the kids making the mixtures. Obviously without reason and under supervision. Ideally the adult doing the pouring of solutions but some things could be shared. There shouldn't be anything bad chemical wise here but we all know there is a slight chance some kids might not have the best foresight when dealing with the powders or washing up liquid. The sticks are essentially just thick dowl rods that haven't had anything else done to them other than the ropes secured onto them. Would have been nice to see a bit more of a sanding around the edges to smooth them out. Although given what they're for, it doesn't matter too much. The securing has been done pretty well, they all feel like they'll hold for at least a fair amount of uses. It's all nicely packaged and some good instructions to follow. You do need extra washing up liquid and it does mention a specific brand but if the chemicals are the same, you can always trial and error it here. Might just require more than specified with unknown brands. I personally use the brand mentioned so it wasn't something I had to figure out.It all mixes nicely and can be done quick if you have a mixer extension for a drill. It does work, but takes a bit getting used to as it's not the typical small bubble bottle with a small hole.Keeps the kids entertained and adds a bit of floaty colours during the sunny days! Not bad overall. Can recommend for a bit of daft fun.
