compatible with canon sx610 hs?

I cannot honestly answer. I know they work well in a 35 year old digital and in my 4 year old canon rebel and in my 3 month and newer game cams by moultrie game cams and my mossy oak game cams.

I think memory cards all come with a little sliding tab on the left edge of the card, as you look at it right side up, and it is near the top. Have you tried sliding that to remove the write protection?
