Does this brush work well with translucent pressed powder?

I use this brush with pressed powder and love how smooth it brushes on my face. It’s a really soft, thick brush and I’m glad I purchased it.

How big is this brush? how long and wide?

The case is 1 1/4" in diameter and 3 3/4" long when closed. Fully open, brush + handle = 3 3/4" long. Bristle head is about 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".

How do you wash the brush and keep the metal container that houses the brush from rusting?

This was a recent purchase so I have only used it a few times. I put some mild soap on the brush and let it air dry. Didn’t let it sit on solution like I do with some of my other brushes. I also just sprayed it with toner to kill germs in between uses.
