Super Sharp and Perfect for Camping
I used this on two trips to the BWCA, and I wish I had a dedicated "kitchen knife" like this in the past. Very well made. Super sharp out of the box. I 100% recommend it!

It’s Alright for the Money
Biggest complaint is how incredibly dull it was on arrival. Decent value otherwise.

Impressive for a picnic kit
My hubby and I love impromptu picnic dinners. I keep a basket ready by the door. The basket contains a set of flatware, plates and cups, a wine opener, and a small cutting board. What's been missing is a good knife. I got a picnic knife a couple years ago, but rather than folding into itself, it came with a plastic cover that snaps over the blade, and it doesn't sharpen very well. This is a proper knife. It doesn't require a cover, and the blade is forged steel that will sharpen just fine. It's heavy and solid, the hinge is stiff and feels safe. It's perfect for cutting a salami, cheese or baguette. And it looks impressive too!I don't know a lot about the different kinds of steel, except that some pocket knives are more prone to rust than others. So each time I unpack the kit to wash the contents, including the knife, I add a drop of food grade mineral oil to the blade after drying it, to prevent rust from developing.

Compact cleaver that is good for portability
I was excited to find this knife that folds and serves well for portability with camping, fishing, or general purpose. It looks nice for the price and feels really solid in use. Compact enough to have in jeans pocket. It also has a hole to hang it from a hook, like in an RV scenario. I did find the steel composition here does not let the knife hang securely from a magnet strip that I use in the kitchen. Tries to adhere and slowly slips to a drop on the counter. When this first arrived it did need a fair bit of cleaning as it was oily on the blade. Unfolding it has a decent amount of work to make sure that was the intention and has a few notches along the way before fully unfolding. When unfolded, there is no lock for it to stay open just the resistance in the handle hinge. I didn't find it an issue but really was expecting a thumb lock like a buck knife. The handle is a hard plastic. The decoration on the blade seems forced rather than naturally occurring. Like it was blasted or etched into it with some pitting. I like the look honestly but did find it more cumbersome for cleaning. The sharpness with a few uses is good with no chips or folds in my general kitchen use of it.For the price I think it is a good buy given the intended purpose is for portability.

Better than expected.
This folding cleaver is surprisingly well built. There is no loose, it opens up in 3 stages for safety and you can flick it open from the second and 3rd stages. I'll use it as an EDC, not for cooking. It's size is impressive and it's perfectly balanced. It's super sharp out of the box and the blade is beautifully hammered and etched with a mountain background and the name Kitory etched in it. The G10 handle is solid. I don't normally write reviews , but for $28.00, you get a hell of a pocket knife. It will certainly stand out in my collection :-)

It's well made
For the price it's a good foldable knife. It's not well balanced though handle is on the heavy side. Wood handle would have been better. It's sharp enough out of package. I sharpened it a bit more yet it won't hold its sharpness as long as a carbon steel ones but it's optimum for what it's designed for. Camping and picnicking. You should sand the sharp corner to avoid little scratches on your hands I saw their attempt to do so but it wasn't good enough.

Nice thick blade
Thick blade and sharp, great for jointing chicken or meat. I like that it folds so I can take it on the road with me. Great grippy handle, Won't slip with wet hands.
