This is my 3rd time purchasing a G4Free umbrella. I live near the desert and use a variety of the umbrellas to protect my plants from direct sunlight in the summer. This latest purchase is to keep in my car and use for dog walks, or going in/out of work and shops when needed direct sun is brutal. I have sun damage to my eyes and vitiligo on my face, so these umbrellas with the reflective tops help me survive in the summer. The umbrellas with the push button are preferred.

Dropped the temperature a couple degrees. It made a world of difference. Thick fabric, easy open and close, it held up nicely despite a 10-15mph wind.

I got this for a trip to Europe, my skin is the color of a sheet of paper so I need all the sun protection I can get! I originally got the larger, wind resistant version of this umbrella but I found it to be too heavy for me to carry for any long length of time so I replaced it with this one. Overall I like it but I haven’t had the opportunity to use it in real life yet. My impressions are overall good, the weight is doable for almost anyone, the size makes it very easy to slip into an bag and the coverage I’m looking for is good. I do see an issue with the auto open and close feature, it’s a little touchy. If you put a slight pressure on the button it will close the umbrella and you have to fully retract it and then re-open it. Also you have to use a bit of force to fully retract the umbrella (easier than the larger, wind resistant version though) and it will take 2 hands so you’ll have to put the coffee down to do it! Overall I do recommend this umbrella with the above issues noted, if that changes after my trip I’ll add an edit!

Completely satisfied with this product. I’ve had this umbrella know for years and I am most happy with this quality umbrella.

Bought this as a gift for a friend who has a skin condition that requires to have as much sun block or protection as possible. She was familiar with this umbrella’s category. She is very happy and recommends it.

I bought for travel of using in the sun but really has been so helpful. I was stuck in bright sun with no protective cover in England with late train. I used this helped with heat and sun exposure. I use it for rain sun high heat in Florida and Europe. I’m going to get more for family

Lightly used the umbrella. The umbrella broke and I can’t return it because it is past the return timeframe. Do not buy !!! It is made out of cheap material.
