Would the battery be easy to replace as it will undoubtedly become worse than it is already in a couple of years of use

I think u can but would void warranty I think I've traded mine in purely because of battery life

What is the lock unlock thing that is shown in the pictures

The lock unlock device locks the charging cable in place on the controller so it doesn't pull out while playing. It only works with the cable that comes with the edge controller. Their are two little tabs that stick out and lock into the small holes either side of the charging socket on the controller when the device is fully locked. I personally have not used it. Hope this helps.

It is an all round controller which is good for all games.
