I bought the Mungyo watercolors out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised. The colors are vibrant, activate easily with water, and layer nicely for such an affordable set. They’re not professional-grade, of course, but for sketching, studies, or casual painting, they work beautifully.The pans are well-packed, and the color selection is solid for basic work. They’re perfect for travel or daily practice. I did notice that some pigments are slightly chalky compared to higher-end brands, but nothing that ruins the experience.If you’re a beginner, student, or hobbyist looking for a budget-friendly watercolor set that still performs well — this is a great choice. I’d definitely buy them again.

This is a good variety of vibrant student watercolors in a convenient tin long enough for a brush. There is area for mixing and the paint tray lifts out for more mixing area or cleaning. Paints flow fairly well and are not weak or chalky.

I loved these watercolors and I can’t wait to use them more. I’ve had them for a few days now and I can say that they’re worth the buy. They blend so well and I think the quality is great. I did a ton of research on them before purchasing them and many artists have said that they’re definitely not professional watercolors, but they’re perfect for beginners. I would have to agree. If you’re looking for professional grade watercolors I’d shoot for Daniel Smiths, Winsor & Newtons or different high-end name brand watercolors. Oh also these do not have high light fastness so I wouldn’t use these for professional commissions, but if you do I’m sure a spray fixative would work nicely to keep the colors looking good on the page.

These mini pots are pure pigment water color. they are extremely vibrant. They blend very well and do everything I need watercolors to do. The set is small, great for travel or plein air.

I have a couple different professional grade watercolor sets but didn't want to use those on the beach or camping this summer.This set is hard to distinguish from those. (Probably a pro could detect the difference - I'm just an amateur but I've painted a lot.)I also wanted a set with a larger color choice, since mixing paints is a pain when standing up or in an awkward place. The color selection is good.Lastly -- I strongly prefer this kind of case, for field painting. (At home, I mix my paints in a separate tray but outside, I use the box.) This kind of box lets you remove the tray of paints, before washing. Much easier if you are cleaning up in a river or lake, as I often do.For most people, I think this would a suitable main set of paints. For others, it's a good field set.

This is a great watercolor palette. The colors are amazing, and the pigments are very rich. I am going to enjoy painting with these very much.
