How reworkable are the marks applied on surfaces? Can it be worked like watercolour?

Hello, the ink is Acrylic based so once it dries it's unworkable and waterproof (to a point). It is exactly like normal Acrylic paint but in liquid form. Depending on the absorbancy of the surface you are working on, and the temperature of the environment you are in, you may get some time to work the medium. But in all honesty it performs in a very similar way to shellac ink (Winsor and Newton) but Daler ink is opaque not translucent. I have found that mixing it with gouache or watercolour does prolong the drying time though and creates a lovely rich and smooth medium to pain with. I do hope that helps!

This is drawing ink - I would not recommend it for this purpose.

Are the inks opaque and what does it mean when it states waterproof?

I wouldn't class the purple one I had as being opaque but I would imagine as with any other ink it depends upon the surface your drawing on and as for being waterproof I think its because when its dried you couldn't wash it away with water
