Can the white sheets be bleached or will they turn gray?

Yes, you can bleach them. They are made of 100% cotton. I personally bleach these sheets over and over. I own a luxury vacation rental company. I have 2 cabins with 25 beds combined and I have 75 sets of these sheets in varying sizes, all in white. I use bleach for obvious sanitary reasons and to keep the sheets bright white. I have used these sheets exclusively for the last 5 years and despite hundreds of washes each, they remain soft and as white as the day I took them out of the box. I can place a brand new out of the box set next to a used just laundered set that has been bleached 50 times and you cannot tell the difference between the new and the used set. Just don’t ever make the mistake of washing anything else with these sheets-I mean nothing else but the sheets and accompanying pillow cases. Other items (socks, shirts, towels, etc) can contain a mix of other fabrics like polyester, spandex, etc and when bleached in the same load as the 100% cotton sheets, can affect on the brightness. Just my recommendation and is according to my experience with these sheets. I receive publicly posted reviews on popular vacation rental sites raving about my bedding and I sleep on these sheets myself at home. Want an added touch of luxurious softness? I iron the sheets and pillow cases for my guests after every wash and wow, they do feel buttery soft while cool and crisp at the same time. These are amazing!

Many people with twin and queen beds use king pillows. Why companies only have standard pillows available with sets? Can't buy separately.

There’s a lot of people like myself that prefer King pillows even though I have a Queen size bed. I agree companies should give us an option on pillow case size. Sounds like they are working on that option.

Are these relatively thick? I want to buy the pure white and I'm hoping these aren't see-through.

These are not thick like high thread count 600 or 800 but these are definitely NOT a see-through. For basic sheets, we think this is a good weight fabric similar to a 300-400 thread count fabric.

what does long staple mean?

Cotton varieties have various lengths. "Long staple" means the length of the cotton is on a longer side, which enables us to spin a finer yarns, with less breaks, resulting in a fabric which will be more smoother and durable in the long term.
