Fits 3rd gen Tacoma
I had to trim the locking mechanism arm which rotates up, see 2nd photo, but otherwise fits perfect. You can also add washers or cut a new hole for the locking mechanism to rotate up into. For me grinding the arm seemed easiest. Great product for the money.

Installation
Had a bit of trouble getting cover to lock after installation. Worked fine when tested prior to install but I needed to grind the tab a bit to get it to lock once installed. Other than that, it is ok.

Not a plug and play on 2005
I bought both driver and passenger side locking covers. Easy enough installation but be prepared for a little fitting. You will need to dremel/drill a slot in the for the locking mechanism to engage. See my photo. Again, easy but probably should be told that upfront before purchase. The driver side would only align 4 of the 6 holes. The 5th needed to be forced a little and the 6th was off 1/4”. Just left it out until I have time to grind it out.

Great Addition to Truck Bed!
The Tacoma has a couple storage compartments in the truck bed. And Hooke once again made use of their ingenuity to create another lockbox out of those compartments so you can safely store items in your truck bed.
