Can these be used in a switchbot ?

If your device is made to accept batteries and you buy the correct size battery then there will be no problem.

Are they ok for a roberts classic portable radio? the ones i've got are energiser 'c' - will these gp ones do - everyone here talks about smoke alarms

I've used the aaa size in a radio and set of headphones and they seam to last just as long as branded batteries. I can see no reason why these would not be ok for a radio so long as you have the correct size. I also use GP batteries in a tens pain relief machine and get good results. In my opinion the GP range of batteries is just as good in quality as big branded batteries but not as expensive. Hope this helps.
