Makita quality - doesn’t disappoint
A tool for professionals. I’m only a DIYer, but when I need a tool I want to know it will do the job. This does - very happy I bought. Also bought the appropriate disks and cut solid concrete slabs without breaking a sweat - which is more than I can say for me on the hottest day of the year! Worth the relatively little extra to go brushless - will last a long time.

Great bit of kit
Have used it regularly, several days at a time cutting sandstone blocks. Very pleased. And no cable!

Excellent product
I am a Makita fan no doubt about it. They produce quality products designed to do the job. They are robust and solidly made and perform well. I needed this as I work away from mains electricity and need the flexibility and reliability to do the task in hand without faffing about with generators and long extension cables. Cutting 2 1/2" thick reinforced concrete paving slabs is not a thrilling pastime; actually it's unpleasant work but with this angle grinder and the correct blade it makes the task somewhat more bearable. It does eat its way through batteries so an adequate supply of 5mAH big boys is necessary. I have quite a few cordless Makita tools as I don't believe in buying tons of various makes of batteries and chargers. Well recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m biased
I like all my Makita tools so I am biasedYou don’t get the power or speed of a corded angle grinder but for my usage the flexibility of having a cordless tool more than makes up for it. If you are doing prolonged angle grinding you may be better going for a corded version, if not this is a brilliant tool.
