I made a good choice: my clipper is fast, quiet and has an excellent fade.

As a professional barber I have used practically every pro clipper brand, I like Gamma because of the diamond head blades and see they’ve changed up the metals lever brackets to coated black as the steel does show up rust and marks if you don’t keep on top of drying off after sanitation.I have several Gamma clippers, I’m on the fence with these still, they get quite warm to hold whist using, blades still warm up fast etc ( blades are bevelled so not flat like the original Ergo)Comes with changeable body kits as do majority of Gamma cordless. I like the little screw driver because the first thing us pros do it’s customise, tweak it, zero gap them but you can’t UNDO the screws! They are just so tightly done up! So that part will be put on hold for now.Faded with them and I was satisfied with the result so all in all I’m happy, I still can’t see much difference to the other Ergos and a bit deflated that I’m not loving them as much as my other sets.For a non pro you will think they are brilliant and that’s what matters as they are a good brand, sharp and very easy to use and can’t recommend enough

The power button became defective after only three weeks light use. Unacceptably poor build quality. Look elsewhere.
