Q: Can I take a shower with it?

I gifted to a few people. Person who wore in shower, the finish faded. Person who wore on top of clothing, the finish is pristine.

Q: Are these real because title says solid gold?

It's a sterling silver chain with an 18k gold overlay...it is NOT solid gold.

Q: Is this really stainless steel? The chain I bought says 925???
