Do these pads suppress the smell of puppy urine?

Oh yes, they do. I have used these super nappy eco training pads and have not smelled bad urine, It is said that the built in natural vegetable ingredients with a faint plant fragrance has the special neutralizes and eliminating odor capability.

What's the function of the optional adhesive work?

The tabs on each corner so that you can keep the pads for dogs in place. They work pretty well, I think.

How come these are marketed as natural/biodegradable when they are the same or worse than all other puppy pads? 20% plastic is worse than average.

They are supposed to biodegrade fast than others ….
