does package comes fully assemble?

No it does not. It takes about 5 mins of assemble. Everything is provided.

Once the coarboard box is closed, how do the kids get the candy out? Cardboard boxes are hard to break with sticks...

You could make your own fir less than the price of this, pure garbage. We reinforced with duct tape because there was one piece of thin tape on both ends that would not even hold the weight of the candy.
