Would these work well to clean nail stamping plates? I’m having trouble finding something that works on their rough surface without leaving lint.

The box says; Superior to cotton. So I would say no it's not cotton. This liitle 2"×2" pad works very well removing nail polish.

Are these suitable for wetting makeup sponges before use? I don’t wanna go to the sink.

From my experience with using a makeup sponge I don’t think these would put enough water into the sponge. They are like cotton balls but less lint and flat like a gauze.

Can these be used for eyeglass cleaners?

I don’t wear glasses, but I don’t think that they are soft enough. I think the texture would just smear water or cleaner around. It wouldn’t absorb anything you used to clean the glasses with.
