Whats the difference between c8 mct powder and just regular mct powder?

C8 is caprylic acid (a triglyceride with an 8 carbon atom chain) that is easily used for fuel by the human body. Regular mct powder consists of a wide variety of triglycerides, mostly c8, c10 and c12, but with others as well. This form has been purified to include primarily c8 triglyceride, making it a more absorbable and potentially healthier formulation. C8 is ideal for those on low carb diet as the liver can convert it to ketones, which can be used for fuel by the muscles and brain (this is a simplified explanation).

Why this only have 8g of fat when all other mtc c8 have 14g? Why is this less fatty

This is a powder and all the main ones are 7 to 10g per scoop. So this is on par with them. Most oils are 14 to 16g.

Does this product contain maltodextrin? Where do the 2 carbs per scoop come from?

No. This product contains soluble corn fiber, glycemic index about 25. It is sometimes called "resistant maltodextrin", provoking a minimal insulin response. Maltodextrin, on the other hand, glycemic index about 100, is more like table sugar, metabolically, in that it does provoke a large insulin response. Soluble corn fiber is a "resistant starch" which is mostly non-digestible in the upper intestine. Meanwhile, Bacteria in the colon do ferment resistant starch, providing beneficial short chain fatty acids in the process. The 2 grams of carbohydrate are made up of the soluble corn fiber and the sodium caseinate. These two molecules make up the "carrier" for the MCT oil... which is still there in its liquid form but encapsulated by the carrier "capsule". The capsule components both provoke an insulin response (soluble corn fiber because of residual non-resistant starch and sodium caseinate because it's 95% protein), but not sufficient to stop ketosis in most people. Obviously, if this MCT powder "knocks you out of ketosis" in your case, you can use liquid MCT oil in its place.
