What is the nightly range of this camera? Is it 7 meters or less?

Hi It would be more than 7. Ours is on the garage which is definitely more than 15m and through brick walls.

Does it need charging first time out of the box?

I'd say so. It had battery life in it but I charged for a couple of hours anyway- just as I would a new mobile etc.

Can you connect 2 cameras to one receiver and how?

The outdoor camera must be paired with an indoor receiver to use. One indoor receiver can support up to 4 outdoor cameras.
