Purchased this unit for my caravan. I go to many dog agility events over weekends typically held in fields or on showgrounds with few if any facilities. Used on a recent trip to Scotland for a family wedding and was amazed at how well the unit performed. It easily handled streaming on the TV, emails and browsing on a laptop. It took only minutes to install and set up, which as a 69 year old shows how straightforward this unit is to use. Not the lowest cost unit on the market but the reviews told me it was worth the risk. Looking forward to having the connectivity at events during the summer.

A nice compact product which performs really well. I got a IDmobile sim for it and made a small magnetic mounting for the 4g aerial so I could place it on my van roof and run the cables into the habitation area where the router is tucked away in a cupboard. Went to rural Cornwall and was able to get a good signal and stream MotoGP races over the weekend in the van! Much better than fighting the Faraday effect with my phone!Only downside is the price, it's quite expensive but hte quality seems very good and the support site and team seem good in terms of contact - though I've not had to use them yet!Highly recommended for mobile wifi.

The problem is: I can't use other sim card then provided by them

Purchased July 2024 & was fitted to my narrowboat directly to the 12v power.Found the provided external antenna to be poor so purchased a Maswell antenna, which made all the difference (needed to purchase connection adapters).Inserted a SMARTY unlimited data SIM card.The whole setup works brilliantly. Sometimes I have to slightly move the Maswell attenna depending were I'm moored but always get a signal.At any one time my smart TV, Internet radio, tablet, mobile phone & blink camera can be connected. I streams Prime, Netflix & other online services without issue, though on the odd occasion I get a slight buffering where the signal is weak.I can only judge this on my setup and travels but it hasn't let me down.Thumbs up from me.

I REALLY wanted this product to work! My home WiFi had crashed during a previous Zoom meeting and I needed to get something sorted ASAP for another meeting in a few days time. I therefore bought this in a bit of a hurry, paying extra for Prime next day delivery. This was done in full confidence as I'd seen a review, rating it top out of all the similar products tested. Also from reading previous reviews on here, it looked like it would do the job... but unfortunately it doesn't!Not only does this product not boost my WiFi speed whatsoever, it actually makes it worse!I'm not even sure how this is possible but I tested it over 3 different days - the evening when it first arrived, more extensively the following day placing the router and the aerial in many different locations around the house, out in the garden and in the camper on the driveway. I couldn't believe it!I did all the troubleshooting, downloading all documents off the HUMA website. I watched YouTube videos of various people. I tried EVERYTHING!Before packing it up to return I tried one last time on the following day, so that I could actually write down all the values for confirmation. I took 5 readings at every location, firstly using my phone, then using my phone's SIM in the router. Here are the results, showing the averages:Location 1 - 6.6 (phone) - 1.7 (KUMA router)Location 2 - 23 (phone) - 5.9 (KUMA router)Location 3 - 20.6 (phone) - 3.9 (KUMA router)Location 4 - 20.4 (phone) - 5.6 (KUMA router)Location 5 - 12.4 (phone) - 960Kbps (KUMA router)Just to confirm, I ran the same test with my phone again afterwards, just to make sure the huge difference wasn't due to something else... my phone results were also exactly the same!I am so disappointed! Not only do I not have a product that meets my needs but I have wasted hours and hours trying to get this to work, trialling it in different locations and then recording the results as proof so that I can (HOPEFULLY!) get my money back (£259). Wow! Just don't bother wasting your time and money!

I bought this to give internet to my static caravan. It works perfectly. I had previously tried other types which buffered terribly. This doesn't. Very easy set up to. It's worth the extra money for uninterrupted streaming. Highly recommend.

This thing works great, my previous 4g router wouldn't get more than 2/5 bars, this thing gets 4/5 and much faster through put.Not as many features, but it keeps things simple and easy to setup! I don't use the WiFi portion so can't comment but has worked flawless for a 4G backup at home!

Same speed as a tp link mifi box for £60 at Curry's. Tested using fast.com.Granted I haven't drilled the aerial into my caravan yet but I do put it up on the roof.Without an extension pole I doubt it would make much difference.
