Great with PELLETS
Been shooting this for over 1 year now. 22 caliber with 18 grain PELLETS at about 870 fps.25 caliber 25 grain PELLETS at around 920 fps.Other than paint it works fine.

Durable
This is a great target. You set it and then fire the pellet at it and instead of resetting it: we just fired at the release and it would reset itself. We purchased this target about two years ago and I’m just now doing a review because there is no way I can give a valid review without trying it out for a while. This target is made out of heavy steel too and will hold up. BB Gun or pellet guns; nothing of a higher caliber or it could damage it. I highly recommend it and it will provide great practice on shooting

Fun and holding up great..I have 6 of these and they get wounded several days a week.
Holding up after thousands of shots..177, .22, .25 cal air guns from 20 to 50 yards. The paint on the paddles didn't last long but they're easy to repaint and not get over spray on the target.Everyone likes shooting them.

Sturdy, good fun, but apparently NOT for BB's!
I only rated a 4 because the instructions on the box indicate to NOT use BB's due to safety concerns related to ricochet, but that is never stated in the item description. This item was well-packaged and arrived intact, operates as described and appears well- constructed. I use both BB's and pellets, so I am going to continue using it, but if you have an aversion to BB's and potential ricochet, you might want to try something different. Hopefully I won't shoot my eye out.

💚 45 yards with a 25 cal and still working and love it.
💚 Had this Crosman Reset metal Squirrel since 2023, I keep it up off the ground on a square post 45 yards for my zero point and think it is of good Quality. I think it is thicker then my tree spinner because I use 2 PCP rifles an Avenger .25 cal and an Avenge-X .22 cal. The 25 cal may be to much for it because it doesn't state anything over 22 cal 950fps and the Avenger 25 cal has a 48 Ft/lbs and goes about 889fps with my settings Reg 2500 HS 5+ on the heavy loads and faster on the light loads but then again it’s 45 yards away used for my zero point. I try to take an updated picture of it but so far it’s holding up and looks good but keep some 2 color cans of paint so you can see where you hit it and I love it.

Works better with my .22. Air rifle
A great little plinking target. I shoot at 20-30 yards and it has held up well. My daisy 880 has no issue with the initial knock down target, but struggles a bit with the reset at a little under 20 yards. Loosening the bolt a bit so that it moves loosely is recommended for lower powered air rifles. My .22 Umarex had no issue at all resetting it at 20-30 yards. I had to tighten the bolt back up a bit as the force from my more powerful .22 actually caused the swing mechanism to slip and it works perfect now. I now use it primarily for plinking with my .22 and it works fantastic.

Ok, but not really the same as the pictures
It looks like the pictures but in the pictures, there are 2 wingnuts at the base to connect the spike. Mine only came with 1 wingnut. Even other people's pictures only shows there's connected with 1 wingnut. Not even sure where a 2nd one would go. Just doesn't match the picture. Other than that inconvenience, it looks solid. Haven't tried it yet. I would suspect you would need at least a .22 to get it to reset.
