Very sturdy
This Grid is heavy duty (quality built). It fits perfectly and has appropriate height from bottom. The grids are small enough to prevent utensils from falling through to the drain, It protects both the stainless sink and the dishes/pots, utensils being washed. It is pretty much easy to clean but I gave it a four (4) because any cleaning at all is too much for me :-)

Didn’t fit
The quality was good and I wish it had been the correct size. Not well described. I had measured correctly. Ultimately I had to return it.

This One is All Stainless Steel ... Plastic Coated Grid Can Experience Meltdown
Our old sink-bottom grid was the one Franke dips in soft plastic. The plastic protests your dishes, but over eight years some spots had melted from the hot bottoms of some pots & pans. Although it was not mechanically broken in any way it started to look "yucky".So we're trying out this one which has a bright stainless-steel finish - no plastic. Fits in the sink bowl perfectly; should last forever.I'd characterize this as a bit expensive, but certainly nice quality. Maybe it's made in the USA? If so I don't mind paying the price.

Awesome grates!!
I could no longer purchase these sink grates from Franke so I was thrilled to find them on amazon! I’ve been using them since I purchased my sink in 2007 and my sink still looks new!

Love this stainless grate, helps protect my Franke sink and elevates item just enough so you're not leaning over.

It works
Purchased one of two grids needed for the kitchen double Franke sink. Purchased one this time (I purchased 2 prior sets) because of the price. Franke sinks are the best metal sinks on the market because of the double layered bottom that prevents them dents and noise when cleaning heavy pots, plates, etc. The grid lifts dishes, utensils, pots, etc. off the bottom allowing for effective cleaning. This new grid is made of thinner stainless steel rod and does not appear to be coated with the same material as the first 2 sets purchased over the years. Don't know yet if that makes it an improvement or not. All-and-all, the new grid works the same as the older ones.
