Q: How long does it take for the Cutterpillar glow to fully charge and how do you know when it is fully charged?

I don’t remember exactly, but only a few hours at most. There is an indicator light when it is fully charged.

No, the tempered glass mat is sold separately.

Q: What is the warranty for the CutterPillar premium? Is the lithium battery covered?

The lithium battery died in my CutterPillar premium after 7 months and only after using it maybe 5 times. CutterPillar refused to replace the battery or the light table, saying warranty is only 90 days. I suggest staying away from this product until they improve the product or make the warranty good for a year.

Q: Has anyone use this for tracing patterns to fabric for embroidery or applique?

I have one and love it! The 3 levels of brightness make tracing patterns a breeze. It is compact easy to move and structurally sturdy. I give it a 10!
