What are the exact dimensions of the laptop area?

I have the largest Dell Alienware laptop - 17.3 inch display about 1.7"x15.85" x12.5". it fits . plus the power cord is thick and heavy which fits. I also get an external DVD drive and optical mouse and pad. Hope this helps
