The legs are a straight cut but have zippers on the outside from ankle to thigh to open the legs completely as needed.

I am 5'8" and I wear ex lg but I don't know about the length for you.I would call Carhartt and ask them.

Know I bought 2X for husband. Plenty of room to wear jeans & hoodie. He’s 100# heavier than you & 5’ 11”. You may want to check for shorter length as these were 2-3” long on him.
