Will this repare a dime size tear in microfiber couch cushion

ive used it on my boat cover . its made of sunbrella fabric . its works well for a few months . the heat in south fl takes its toll on the repair patch. doesnt look pretty either .

can you use this to patch up holes in a microfiber upholstery couches?

I have used it to repair, very successfully, canvas on a boat cover, and I used it, essentially as a 'hinge' on a broken lid/cover on a pill box. Its ability to repair microfiber is an unknown to me, but frankly you WILL find a good use for it, somewhere down the line. I will be a repeat customer.

Will this work to repair a rip on the outside layer of a 100% polyester Omni-Heat Columbia jacket--looking 'good' and last during machine washing?

The patching material is semi-transparent so it would be obvious. Don't known about machine washing, but my patch on outside awning is still looking good after AZ summer temps and monsoon downpours.

What are the specific differences between type a and type b?

one is strictly for vinyl, believe it is type b but should be easy to check
