I purchased this grill to replace the original grill that came with the NuWave Countertop Oven. The original one seemed to be chrome covered base metal that peeled off making your cooked food taste terrible. This grill is stainless steel so there is no peeling and very easy to clean after use. Don't throw out your NuWave Oven, replace the grill with this one, you'll be glad you did.

Must wash immediately after use or food will stick to it and will be very hard to remove. I spray Pam on mine before use and immediately after I use it it has to be scrubbed clean. I use a soft rubber scrubber that has nubs on it. I do not use metal, fabric or a harsh brush of any kind. Occasionally I'll use a soft rubber flat edge to scrape between the metal wires for stubborn pieces. I use dawn soap. Don't let it soak for more than 5 mins or it will rust. We used to use our New Wave Oven 5 to 6 days a week. We typically keep 2 on hand.

Very poorly quality. While the material was thick it had a very poor chrome job with cracking and spots where the chrome did not adhere. The major issue I have is that the assembly is really poor. The unit appears to be warped. The top is not totally flat you can see that some parts are higher and lower that others. The legs are uneven causing a wobble. In addition, I am not sure it is stainless steel. Most stainless grates and grills I have purchased you can see grain like markings in the metal, but this one is chromed so I cannot tell, but I soaked it in water for a few hours and several brown spots appeared. I am so unhappy that I did not return fearing I would just be waiting to get something worse.

This is what I SHOULD have gotten when I purchased my NuWave infrared oven. I don't know why they don't include a STAINLESS STEEL rack instead of the cheapy one that you get!! In no time it's rusting... This one is a breeze to clean up and we use it almost daily! No RUST!!! Great item! WELL worth the price!! Now if only I could find someone who makes a glass dome that would fit my NuWave!!!

Initially received the wrong extender ring kit (larger metal one). Was able to exchange with no hassle. My NuWave dome itself warped a little when I used this extender ring, but I'm not sure if that was due to the large size of the turkey or the extender ring. Probably just a coincidence, and I would recommend this plastic extender ring kit.
