A little skeptical in the beginning, but an amazing watch!
I got this watch as a birthday gift to myself last week, and it is absolutely amazing. I expected there to be lots of problems with the watch but the was not the case for me. The watch came in a small box and had no damage on it. I had initially thought that the glass was cheap as i thought the were scratches on it but it was just a plastic film for protecting the screen. The wood on the band in smooth and feels nice. The watch is also extremely lightweight making it much more comfortable than other watches. I have received many compliments on the watch say that it was unique and cool. I did have to take out a link because it was a little too big for me even though i have big wrists. I was worried that the band was not adjustable as the first jeweler that i went to said the it was "no good" and he was not able to take out a link, but when i went to a better jeweler they took it off in a couple minutes. I was worried that the whole band would break when they took out a link like it did in the other reviews but everything seemed to be fine. I had no problem with the smell of the watch as other customers did, but that may be because i got the Zebrawood watch and not the maple or ebony wood watches. I also had no problems with the clasp coming off on its own, i constantly play with the watch by taking it off and on again and there seems to be not damage and/or loosening of the clasp.Anyways, overall i think that this watch is definitely worth the price and i would buy it again in another color if i could.P.S. the shown original price that is like $120 is just to make you feel like you getting a good deal. I looked up "Bewell" and they actually only sell in bulk of at least 20 pieces, so the watch would never actually be sold at $120.

BEST PIN REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
TBH I was a bit worried about adjusting the size of the watch after reading the reviews claiming faulty pins. I had to remove 3 links and it took me about 30 minutes. I think I discovered the easiest and safest way to do it. Instructions below..PT 1: TAKING OUT PINS- You'll need a hammer, the tool that comes in the box, a table with sharp corners and two hands.1.) Start with the pin closest to the face of the watch, doesn't matter which end. Place the watch sideways, with the eyelet of the pin facing up.2.) Move the link to the edge of the table so the side of the link with the pin you want to remove is hanging off the edge.3.) Take the tool that came in the box and line it up on the eyelet so it's touching the inner pin. Only one hand should be holding the pin and holding the watch.4.) Take the hammer in your other hand and gently tap the tool until the pin falls out. Try to keep the pin holder (that tiny piece of metal you were tapping through) in place. If it falls out, it's no problem.5.) Repeat this procedure until all the desired links are removedPT 2: PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER- You'll need a hammer, the tool that comes in the box, a table with sharp corners, two hands and two of the spare pins you removed.1.) Start with the pin closest to the face of the watch, doesn't matter which end. Insert one pin into the hole and place the watch sideways, with the eyelet of the pin facing up.2.) Make sure the entire link is lying flat on the table.3.) Take the spare pin and line up the head of the pin (big end) with the eyelet.4.) Take the hammer and give the spare pin a firm, but gentle whack.5.) Repeat this procedure until all the desired links are put back.

Makes a Statement
For a low-budget wooden watch this is awesome. It does the job that any watch should (tell the time) and is a good conversation starter when sitting down with people. Not all watches have to be flashy to get noticed and this one does the trick. It is unique, super lightweight, and comfortable to wear. Many people have came up to me and asked what type of watch it is and where I got it. Both guys looking for something different or girls looking for gifts/a reason to come up and talk. A lot of people have a silver, gold, or black watch but not many have a brown/wooden one. It makes a statement.I have not had any issues with it and it has stood up to the wear and tear that watches inherently go through. The best thing about it is that if it breaks or goes missing then you really do not need to take it to a jeweler or anything to get fixed because it is cheap enough to just get a new one. Would recommend to anyone that is hesitant to wear a watch in an outdoorsy situation or is worried that they might lose or damage a pricey watch or for the person trying to be different and get noticed a little bit more.

Better than I expected!
This watch is better than I expected. It wasn't ticking at first until I removed the piece of plastic inserted at the base of the winding knob. I was able to quickly size the band by removing a link from each side with this:SE JT6218 5-Piece Watch Band Link Pin Tool Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002Q8AJSM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Jzqnyb2BE8H7WBe careful when sizing, I saw some other reviews on the topic. This thing is real wood and can chip or break. Gently wedge the band into the band holder, give the pin a few taps through the eye piece, firmly but not too hard. If the pin doesn't fall out you can grab it with your fingernails and pull it out. When hammering the pins back in I used the blunt end of a pin to support the eye piece. If not you may knock it out of the link. It took two people, I held the band against a pin to support the eye piece while my wife hammered the pins into place. See pics.I just got this watch and am supper excited with the look and fit. Honestly at this price point I won't be upset if I damage it through normal wear and tear. It does have a 1yr warranty that I assume will cover the mechanical aspects. However sending it to China may not be worth the shipping.
