Little unclear, is this a 12v fan or 5v fan? I gather the argb is the 3pin 5v, but don't see voltage for the fan power cable listed.

The FAN plug is a normal 4-pin 12V with PWM control. I have mine plugged into the CPU_FAN header and controls normally. The ARGB plug is 5V regular 3 pin (+5V, D, (missing), GND). This works with standard Addressable RGB motherboard headers and hubs (non-Corsair).

Will these work in a corsair 4000d case?

Yes they will, they're the same size as a regular fan they're just thinner.

can you control the rgb with ASRock polychrome sync or only ASRock polychrome rgb?
