About as good a gong dao bei as you could ask for at this price
Holds heat better than either of the other pitchers I have. Still warm after 10 minutes if you leave the filter on it. Holds a lot of volume. I havent measured, but my 200ml gaiwan only fills it about halfway as you can see. I may go for something bigger if I were using a vessel over 325ml or so, but under that should be okay. Its also pretty sturdy, though I probably wouldnt put it in a dishwasher.

Perfect shape and size for tea
This is a well made clear glass pitcher that fits my hand just right. It is not very big 8oz. It feels like high quality. 4 stars for sturdiness and durability because it is glass.

Looks nothing like the picture.
It looks nothing like the picture. This is why I was confused about it being in my past purchases. It gets the job done but is very delicate.

Small but functional fairness cup for Gong Fu
While it won't win any prizes for style or aesthetics, this is a perfectly functional fairness cup for your Gong Fu tea ceremonies. It is light weight with an opening large enough to accommodate a tea strainer which rests neatly and firmly on the top. Its made of reasonably think heat resistant glass, which will tend to loose more heat from your tea than a porcelain equivalent. Overall I am please with my purchase and am enjoying using it.

NOT the same item as shown
Works as intended but complete fraud. It is indeed not the same pitcher shown in the photos. Should have listened to other reviews. How is this fraud allowed on amazon?

Why is the handle so low?
It's a gong dao bei, so there isn't much about it to write home about in the first place. But that just makes any of its shortcomings feel that much more noticeable. And its main one is that the handle is way too low on the jug. It totally messes with the ergonomics and makes pouring from the handle difficult. I almost think it would've been more well-designed if the handle weren't there.
