What is the difference between regular Gorilla super glue and the super glue XL in both the gel and regular,thanks

Can I use this to install a car spoiler instead of 3m?

You can, I'd imagine. You'd need a lot of it, and you would want to be sure it bonded to the metal, not the paint. AND you'd want to clean the metal well with rubbing alcohol or some such. I'd stick to the recommended material for anything that's going to be encountering 70+mph wind resistance.

Would this hold together 2 pieces of dried and painted "air dry clay?"

I am pretty sure it will hold. I glued a few broken ceramic pieces and it worked really well and has a strong bond.

Will work on auto trim?

It claims it works on " Wood, Paper, Leather, Plastic, Metal". I would give it a try.
