Hankook Ventus V2 concept 2 All-Season Radial Tire - 225/50R16 V

I could not find this size tire locally or even from A national tire chain.They were purchased to replace the 30 year old tires on a classic car I had recently purchased. I was surprised to find them on Amazon and shipped with Prime. They ride great.

Tyres were rotation specific, didn't notice or see that mentioned, would not have purchased had I known. Otherwise very good tyres, very good grip.

Five Stars for the tire - These are my second set of Hankook tires. Reasonable price, good handling. Far too new to know anything about how long they will last, but they are far better than the ones that they replace.One Star for the Tire Store that did the mounting - One of the biggest hassles of buying tires online is finding a decent tire store that won't discriminate against you when you go to have them mounted and balanced. To that end I jumped at the option of buying the tires online and scheduling a mounting service with a fixed out-the-door service charge. Silly me. I will not make that mistake again. Their price was a little high, but not overly so. At least that is what I thought when I place the order. But that was before I showed up for the appointment. Even though I had already paid Amazon for the mounting and balancing the "amazon associate" tire store managed to find an extra $40 of incidentals to charge for before they would return my car key. That put the cost of mounting and balancing roughly twice as high as the next best local alternative. Keep in mind that had I not watched them like a hawk they would have also charged for non-scheduled items such as alignment, 28 point worthless "safety" checks, and on and on. Had I not demanded "just mount the tires, please", I have no idea how high the bill would have been.Safety First, do not go to this tire mounting service.
