Wet, it's difficult to keep ahold of. The fibers become mildly slippery. Add soap or body-wash... yeah, it wants to slip away from your grasp. It's not going to exfoliate.However, I think maybe if you use it dry, the coarse fibers may work well to raise the circulation in the skin.Also when it's wet, it sort of shrinks. Wet, it's really small, much smaller than a standard washcloth size.I love the natural fibers and they seem pretty strong.If you;re looking for exfoliation, then use the Korean viscose (red or green) exfoliating cloths. Once you soap and rinse, using the Korean nylon wash cloths, dead skin just rolls away.I think I may use this cloth to wash dishes. Not me. If it were in the form of a bath koosh, that would be better, but this tiny thing cannot be coaxed into such form.

No old skin will ever build up on your face or anywhere else you chose to use this cloth. Super effective and dries quickly.

The product is feels more plastic the the all. Natural wash clothes I have purchased else where.

This is a great exfoliator, which I use a once a week. It’s a bit rough, so I do not use it every day. After each use I am able to feel the difference in my skin. I like the fact that after each use the ayate dries quickly and stays mold free.

I love these washcloths and would have given it 5 stars, but the last two I bought started turning black. I had this one less than a month and it started turning. I always squeeze the excess water out and hang to dry. I don't think it's mildew, but I don't know what it is.

I have purchased these many times and been very happy with them. My last purchase experience was very much like an earlier review in that the cloth only curled and the weave never closed. There seems to be some inconsistencies in the product, which is sad because it makes it hard to buy and believe in. It has been an excellent product in the past so I’m not sure hat to do at this point.
