Terro16 oz. Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Aerosol Spray

We were getting ants in the house and would look for different things to use but also something that wouldn’t harm our 2 dogs. Purchased this item last year and early spring sprayed all around the perimeter of the house, as soon as I saw ant hill sprayed right into it, never saw one ant inside our home last year and ready for this year. This is a terrific product and recommend to anyone with ant problems. We were at the vets office and she was talking about so many hundreds of dollars she had paid to a company until she heard about a product called Ter, something, she couldn’t remember the name, I said Terri and she said that’s it, she also loves the results she has gotten and how much money she’s saved.

Works instantly, but not for too long.

Just unwrapped the order and found it is not the product pictured or the same formula as the product pictured. Disregard review below. The product has changed since my last purchase. I doubt this "new, improved formula" will work half as wellThis kills them all immediately and they never come back. (Well, at least not in my lifetime.) I really like the applicator, because I can direct the spray inside a wall through a small drill hole, if necessary. I have used this to control Carpenter Ants, (and probably termites too, although I've never seen one), for over a decade with one can that is still not empty. I wanted this in case the product is pulled from the market, which often happens with things you use that work. I don't like using toxic chemicals around my house, but the way I apply this product, I believe minimizes the negative aspects of using insect killers.

I Had termites , yes again I HAD this product killed them , after I foamed the crevices that they were in I didn't see their sawdust droppings coming out anymore. My property management was supposed to take care of this but it had already been a month so I just did it myself.

I first used the TERRO Ant Killer Liquid Ant Baits (pre-filled) 6 Pack. It worked incredibly well. No more ants. I now use this product to periodically spray the old problem areas, as well as the peremeter of rooms near radiators (pipes going to the basement and crawl space, two problem areas), the door saddle leading to our back yard and vents to our crawl space. After 10+ years with springtime/summer routine infestations, the ants are gone.For what it's worth, here is my review of the traps:Wow. I won the war this year against carpenter ants.Every year during the spring and summer, we see carpenter ants in our new den/extension, above a crawl space. This year was no different until I put these traps out. First two days made me nervous because I didn't really see any activity. By day three, there were 10+ big black ants coming and going. By day four, the same number of ants, plus 3-6 stuck inside; the scratching noises were annoying. By the second week, I don't see any more black ants. Gone. As a precaution now, I spray some Terro into the crevice between the floorboard and molding. I also placed a few traps outside the peremeter of my house just in case. I declared war and seem to have won. I highly recommend this product.

Good product. It certainly helps keep the carpenter bees at bay

Terro makes a awesome ant ridding product. This one is the best for the house as I had an ant issue that was insane. Ants were coming in from cracks in the crown moulding and up the carpet openings they could find. Minute openings to the bare eye till you see an ant come through. This spray with the nozzle was the answer as I dislike spraying like Raid due to the smell that goes all over. This I felt fine spraying using the nozzle straw connection as the Terro just went where it was needed. I had a corner where the carpet ends and ants were coming through so I sprayed there or an area I couldn't reach. This is part of my solution in the house. Can't do without it and great that I can use Amazon to deliver it home.

I am so disappointed with Terro and also with Amazon.To begin with, the product I received was NOT the one pictured on Amazon (See photo above of what I received.) and it was not equivalent . It puts out a mist while the one pictured on Amazon's site has a blue cap and puts out a stream. The one I received was a gruesome failure! It stopped the ants only until the mist dried. That took 1 minute and then more came marching up! YES, this is not a typographical error. One minute. I could not believe what I was seeing. I misted the new line. The results? One minute, seven seconds. The information on the can indicates it will kill up to a month. I think THAT was a typographical error. It should have said One minute.Many times in the past, I have used the blue cap aerosol with excellent results.Why didn't I get it this time. Maybe it has been discontinued. If it has, this replacement is awful.If it has indeed been replaced, then I have to ask two questions.What happened to Terro. It used to put out a good product?Why has Amazon been so sloppy in checking its suppliers?The ant line remains. Terro has competitors. They now have a new customer.
